I’m bringing you some exciting news! We will be introducing some new twists to the Pismo Beach Rally - lots of new and a little of the old, all due to Scott and Brenda’s creativity. One thing we will be adding is live streaming of some of the events. We are new subscribers to Zoom so we will be able to share with our friends that aren’t at the rally and maybe get some of them to join the club. Armand Minnie will be the coordinator along with some help from his friends and fellow members of GMCWS.
What will we do next? Don’t worry, Jim Kanomata will still host happy hour every night. Grace Kanomata will be our new Secretary and we will vote our new board in for 2023. We still need a President and Vice President in charge of Ladies activities so don’t miss an opportunity to get on the board so that you too can be a part of all the new changes and opportunities to be of service to your club. We have lowered the entrance fee for the rally to $385 (about $90 less than our actual expenses) in an effort to offset the cost of gasoline, just as a way to say thank you from your club. You will be able to register online and the registration form will be on the web-site soon.
On a sad note, Ron and Linda Clark have sold their GMC so we won’t be seeing their smiling faces at the Rallies. We will really miss them, Linda was always such a help at the rallies - please volunteer to help replace her.
We’re excited to be able to get together again and what better place than Pismo! I hope to see you there. I have been going there since I was a child and have many good memories of a little beach town tucked away on the coast. It will be hard to top it with the Spring rally in 2023 - we need a rally host to make that happen. Please? Rally hosts get their fees paid by the club.
