Support the GMC community -- Win a FireFight system

Here’s a chance to do some good for the GMC community AND to protect your family and coach investment at the same time! You are invited to participate in a drawing we are calling the Summer GiveAway -- for a chance to win a FireFight fire suppression system.

Here’s all you have to do: Make a financial contribution to one, two or all three of the following sites:

GMC photo site http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/donate.html

GMC registry http://gmcmhregistry.com/Donate.html

GMCnet Mailing list http://www.gmcnet.org/support.html

For every dollar you give your name will be entered into the drawing. For example, donating $10 to the registry and $10 to the photo site gives you 20 chances.

Here are the details.

Jim Bounds, GMC Coop, has generously provided a GMC engine compartment fire suppression system for the grand prize. This is model SS100 R4 Foam, a $395 value, the state of the art for vehicle fire protection which can be seen here…

Jim has long been associated with bringing specialty products and innovation to our GMC coaches. He is also known for his Daily Pose, where, at times, he has had to share with readers the heartbreak of burned GMC's and sometimes, the owner's anguish when the financial loss was not insured. Now, as the driving force behind FireFight, he is in the unique position to recommend fire suppression options for our coaches.

Your donations must be received by July the 15th; the drawing will be held on July the 17th for the grand prize as well as for some great second and third prizes.

These GMC sites need our support, regardless of any prize; hopefully this makes it fun to give while reminding us of fire prevention and safety at a time when we may be planning our summer travels.*

Remember, 100% of the money given goes directly to the site or sites you choose. All prizes and other expenses have been donated.

So here's a chance to give to your GMC community and possibly win a nice prize. But fire protection is important so if you don’t win, buy one anyway! And if you have already decided to get one, please don't wait to see if you win.

Please contact Dennis Sexton in Germantown, TN (dennisfsexton@aol.com) with any questions; all ideas of help appreciated.

Thank you for your support!

The GMCnet conducted a brainstorming session and came up with a list of items that would reduce the chances of a fire breaking out in a GMC. Everyone’s input was compiled by Rob Mueller and can be found on the GMCES website in the Technical Documents session.
