We are excited to be going to one of our favorite new parks. We are also excited to have Scott & Brenda host another first class Western States rally. They do an amazing job!
The Wine Country RV Resort is a fairly new five star RV Resort with a heated swimming pool and spa, as well as a separate adult spa area near our camp sites and the Wine Loft Club House. The park has a Wine Garden with an outdoor theater. Harvey’s Corner is an adult playground with a beer and wine bar. They serve a variety of local wines.
There is a dog park, billiards room, fitness center, game room and convenience store. We will all be parking together at the top of the terraced park. In the center is the Wine Loft Club House, along with shaded patios and BBQ areas.
The air conditioned club house has industrial style kitchens. (You know what that means? Working together creating home cooked meals.) Meal plans are in the works. One night’s dinner could be Roving Hors d’oeuvres. You might bring your favorite Hors d’oeuvres or Crock Pot delight to share with the group. One night we may have a Ranch style wood BBQ. Another night we may have a Santa Maria style Tri Tip BBQ. We will have happy hour each night and of course lots of ice cream socials. There will be four breakfasts and dinners; lunch is on your own.
Our Technical VP is putting together new GMC seminars. People are working on activities from cooking classes to crafts and book club. Carol Minnie and Bobbie Schultz will be taking the ladies back to the 50s for a fun ladies’ lunch, and Bobbie and Joanne Hernawill be leading the book club where we will discuss “Poppy in the Wild” by local Paso Robles Author Teresa Rhyne. If you have a special talent and would like to share with us, let one of us know and we will fit you into the schedule. For entertainment, there will be Succulent centerpieces to create, a fun auction and plenty of time for GMC games. Do you call wine tasting a game?
Unfortunately, space is limited to 40 coaches, so be sure to sign up by March 25th.
Fees:
Coach with two persons $425 or $110 per night
Coach with one person $375 or $100 per night
Coach with family (3 or more people) $475 or $120 per night
One person, no coach $70 or $18 per night
Extra camping nights before or after are $90 each
Non-members must add $10 to their total fee (or join the club for $25).

The park has cottages available at this time. Contact the park for those reservations - but use the Registration Form where you can note that you are not camping so we can plan the food.

What to Bring: GMC Motorhome, Lunch Food, First night Hors d’oeuvres for many, Swap Meet Goods, Fun & Funny Auction Stuff, Bathing Suit for pool and spa, and a sense of humor for GMC game nights. Read “Poppy in the Wild” by Teresa Rhyne for the Book Club. Dust off your poodle skirt or 50s outfit for the luncheon (not mandatory but could be fun).
