Beckman\/R. Beckman) To accept the Minutes of April 14, 2023, as presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>President\u2019s Report<\/strong> was presented by Jim Kanomata.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FMCA presented a 35 Year Anniversary Certificate and a check for $200.00 to the GMC Western States.&nbsp; This award was accepted by Sharon Work at the FMCA Convention.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>President Kanomata also presented the following with a $100 gift certificate each to:&nbsp; Dave DeGraffenreid; Scott Cartwright; and Armand Minnie for their exceptional work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We should prepare a \u201cBlacklist\u201d for Western States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The GMC Western States brochure is to be given to people who show interest in the GMC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduced the following: Jon and Sandy Schmit, from Washington; Troy and Jolene Slavkovsky, from Eugene Oregon; and Bernie Sabal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Showed the Ragusa \u201cGMC Classics Plaque\u201d that Jim would like the GMC Western States members to have on their GMC.&nbsp; The cost is $49.95.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GMCWS\u2019 Red Safety Box with AED machine.&nbsp; Put notice\/sign next to it to tell people where the AED is located.&nbsp; Put this box also inside the meeting room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jim wants to form an Executive Board members made up of regional clubs in the Western States; reach out to them to increase membership; must be FMCA members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use Applied\u2019s customer list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Vice President\u2019s Report<\/strong> was presented by Jodell Banovich. Craft activity after this meeting.&nbsp; Will have a Halloween theme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>Vice President\u2019s Report<\/strong> was presented by Scott Cartwright.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The April 4-7, 2024, will be held at the Vintage Rally at Frank Bonnelli State Park in San Dimas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has full hook ups, car show, food trailers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fall rally TBD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\">\n<li><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/strong> was presented by Dave DeGraffenreid.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ending balance as of 2022 was $17,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check to Scott Cartwright for $1,700.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last rally we broke even.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$35 to buy GMCWS badges for new members by Dave DeGraffenreid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$100 to outgoing President.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$16,500 balance now.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Webmaster\u2019s expenses pending.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Auction off sets expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Centerpieces to support rally expenses or the treasurery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"8\">\n<li><strong>Webmaster\u2019s Report<\/strong> was absent.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Armand has requested to be replaced.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He will continue to assist us until his replacement is found.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>M\/S\/P (R. Beckman\/G. Beckman) To give $100 gift certificate to Armand Minnie in recognition of his work as Webmaster.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Someone suggested Brenda Cartwright.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"9\">\n<li><strong>National Director\u2019s Report \u2013 <\/strong>Sharon Work was not available.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dean Hanson has offered to take this position.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Judy Booth offered to contact Sharon and ask her for her intent to continue as GMCWS FMCA representative.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some of the duties of the FMCA Representative are to vote on: FMCA officers; activities; travel insurance; liability insurance for our rallies, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"10\">\n<li><strong>Newsletter Editor<\/strong> \u2013&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Judy Booth has declined to continue as the Newsletter Editor.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The committee reports can be placed on the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"11\">\n<li><strong>Nominating Committee Report<\/strong> \u2013 Nominations for the Board were made and accepted as follows:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>President, Jim Kanomata<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First Vice President, Jodell Banovich<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Second Vice President, Scott Cartwright<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secretary, Grace Kanomata<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Treasurer, David DeGraffenreid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Director, Sharon Work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alternate National Director, Manny Trovao<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Newsletter Editor, Sharon Work was not present to either accept or decline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Webmaster, Armand Minnie<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"12\">\n<li><strong>Unfinished Business \u2013 <\/strong>None.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"13\">\n<li><strong>New Business - <\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Upcoming club rallies:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suggested looking at State Parks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a club house, kitchen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check out Hemet, Santa Rosa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"14\">\n<li><strong>Adjournment<\/strong> \u2013 There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:30 AM.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Respectfully submitted,\u00a0Grace Kanomata<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace Kanomata<br>Secretary<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GMCWS General Membership Meeting MinutesSeven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville, OR\u00a0 97417October 6, 2023 M\/S\/P (G.
