First on my agenda, it is my\npleasure to share with you that we had a very successful and enjoyable Spring\nRally. It was so nice to see all of\nyou. Thank you for all the pictures you\u2019ve\n contributed to commemorate the rally and\nthe experience, we will have no lack of pictures to share in the August\nnewsletter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m working on the Fall Rally\nOct.2-7 2019 at 7 Feathers,RV Park and Casino in southern Oregon and planning some fun and interesting experiences. It will\nbe a great way to usher in the Fall, with all the beautiful array of colors in\nSouthern Oregon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you check in at 7 Feathers, we\nwill have a welcoming site, where you will pick up your welcoming package,\nwater, a pumpkin to decorate with Jodell Banovich at 3pm, to place in the\nclubhouse as centerpieces. Maybe you\u2019ll\nwin the prize for best pumpkin carving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m asking\nmembers to volunteer to lead programs and events. Armand Minnie is collecting\nrally fee\u2019s and will keep an updated spread sheet on the web-site, where you\nwill be able to check and see who will be attending. Carol Minnie will be co-hosting the ladies\nbrunch with me, 12-2pm Sunday Oct.6th<\/sup> and will host the coffee and\nbook club 11-12pm, Fri. Oct 4th <\/sup> in the Club House . The book we have chosen is\n\u201cThe Oregon Trail\u201d by Rinker Buck, such a great book, I think all GMC\u2019ers can\nidentify with driving a modern Journey across the Oregon Trail in a covered\nwagon, especially if your into western American history, woven in with days of\nexploration and peril, it\u2019s your book. Dave de Graffenreid will host the Oregon\nCouples game 8pm Fri. Oct 4th<\/sup>, in the Clubhouse. George and Ruth\nBeckman will lead our Sunday Church Service, It\u2019s always so inspiring. Sunday Oct 6th<\/sup> 9:30-10am,\nClubhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Cascader\u2019s are hosting a\npancake breakfast 8-9am Thursday, Oct.3rd<\/sup>, Clubhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I want to start with 7 Feathers Oct\nRally going paperless, meaning you bring cutlery, plates, glasses and\nnapkins. It\u2019s an effort to save the\nplanet and the trees it takes to produce the service. I read a plastic fork will outlive me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re leaving May 9th<\/sup>\nfor 7 Feather\u2019s Oregon to set up and work out the planning. We will drive the tour route and talk with\ncaterers. I will send pictures from the\nroad for your enjoyment. I want to thank\nyou for all the interest and inquires you\u2019ve shown towards Gene. He gets stronger each day and is looking\nforward to panning for gold along with a craft beer from Oregon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you to Jim and Grace Kanomata\nfor hosting a craft beer tasting 5-6pm Fri Oct 4th<\/sup> Clubhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I also wanted to thank you for all\nmy Birthday Greeting\u2019s, it was fun hearing from all of you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We will spend 2 days with Donna\nVentura and Nick Roenick on our way home. \nDonna and I will be reviewing amendments to our by-laws over the last\nfew years.
