Hi gang,<\/p>\n

Good time to do your late summer\/fall planning and get your reservation in for what should be a really great three GMC club rally on the Oregon coast at Coos Bay, OR,\u00a0October 2 through 7. \u00a0All five of the major west coast clubs will be present with three, GMCWS, GMC Cascaders and GMC 49ers as the official hosts. In addition to GMCs coming from Canada and all over the west there are caravans already planned coming from the Pacific Cruisers. \u00a0We also expect a big turnout from the Jet Setters as well. \u00a0I also hear tell of GMCers coming from the other side of the Rockies so it should be a great turnout. \u00a0if you want to put together your own caravan, a number of our members will be publishing self guided tours for coming from all points of the compass --- well, maybe not from the west!<\/p>\n

We have full hookup room for 100 coaches with nearly unlimited adjacent dry camping for the rest. \u00a0The first 100 to sign up will receive a special art piece that Sharon and I have commissioned from well known metal artist, Serene Silva of Santa Cruz, CA. \u00a0In addition to a full suite of seminars covering all aspects of how to restore, maintain and modernize your GMC and how to get the most from the GMC lifestyle, we are planning a whole media day with live vendor demonstrations in the morning and open houses in the afternoon. \u00a0We hope to attract regional media interest so more people can learn the joys of these fine old coaches.<\/p>\n

A special treat for many will be the optional tour, student food sampling and wine paring event at the culinary arts center. \u00a0All transportation will be provided. We also will be going to the estate of lumber baron Louis Simpson that is now a beautiful State Park featuring the outstanding gardens and breathtaking views of the ocean. \u00a0And, for those of you who really like to be pampered, all our meals (except for the very special\u00a0Saturday\u00a0BBQ) will be catered by the Mill Casino, Hotel and RV park staff. \u00a0Bring your swimming suits if you enjoy sitting in the hot tubs overlooking Coos Bay watching the commercial shipping traffic go by.<\/p>\n

We are featuring a risk free early registration process to make sure you get the spot of your choice. \u00a0If you need to cancel for any reason and do so prior to\u00a0August 25\u00a0you will receive a 100% refund. \u00a0That is the date we have to commit to the caterers and the RV park so after that cancellation refunds will be made only if we can after paying all the rally expenses.<\/p>\n
